About CARFAX
CARFAX Vehicle History Reports help to reduce your risk when driving or planning to buy a used car, so that you can buy with more confidence. For US Import cars carfax.eu gives European car buyers exclusive access to CARFAX, the most trusted provider of vehicle history information in the US. There are many reasons to buy a used car – including value for the money, convenience and even impact on the environment. However, the used car market is not regulated and anyone can try and sell a salvaged, flooded, or otherwise damaged car for much more than it is worth. CARFAX will run a Vehicle History Report using the unique 17-character VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) which can be found on any car or light truck model 1981 or later. The Vehicle History Report we provide you with is instantly generated from our database of more than five billion records. On carfax.eu Europeans who wish to buy a used car, can select their specific-country site so they can check the history of a car in their country. As of today this service is offered for Sweden, Spain and Slovenia. More country-specific sites are planned for 2012. Using our service can make the decision to buy a used car for you much easier and you will get the same benefits as our millions of customers in the US.
