Business Development Manager Classified Partners Europe

(m/f/d) CARFAX Europe GmbH provides trusted information that helps millions of people to shop, buy, own and sell used cars with more confidence. Our flagship service is our Vehicle History Report, a curriculum vitae for used vehicles, to solve the asymmetric information problem in the used car market. Our customers get access to an extensive multinational database consisting of +27 billion historical records related to over 1 billion cars in +20 countries across Europe and North America. Today, we are a team of 100+ people in six European countries – while retaining a start-up feeling, including flat hierarchies and flexible decision-making processes. In order to grow our business and enter new segments, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to join our headquarters in Munich (or remote).

Your role:

  • Develop and optimize our business relationships in the automotive classifieds sector

  • Monitor, analyze and optimize KPIs and other performance indicators

  • Drive optimization and development of partner integrations

  • Support the local market managers in their business development activities with partners and dealers by building synergies, preparing European best practices and success stories etc.

  • Cooperate closely with internal stakeholders such as Marketing and Product

Your profile:

  • Business degree or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Key Account Management or similar

  • Background in an automotive vertical or horizontal online marketplace

  • Familiarity with typical KPIs and their influence on business decisions

  • Experience managing and creating long-term, strategic business relationships

  • Knowledge on the evaluation of ad buys, user-oriented content, revenue share and CPM

  • Excellent command of English and experience working in an international environment Ideally, understanding of UX/ Performance dynamics

  • Proven Sales professional and “hunter” mindset
