Business Development Manager - Sweden

Your role

You have an entrepreneurial mindset and like to work in a fast-driven, international environment? You would like to strengthen our market position in Sweden and – potentially - develop into the Nordics? As a Business Development Manager at CARFAX Europe, you have the following responsibilities:

  • Identify and negotiate agreements for access to public and private sector vehicle data

  • Develop strategies to identify new vehicle-related data partnerships

  • Identify potential partners and their decision makers, secure meetings with them and introduce CARFAX models

  • Negotiate contract terms that protect and grow the products, financial interests and resources of CARFAX

  • Contribute to the growth of the business in Sweden

  • B2B sales activities and key account management for various industries, including online listings, banks, insurers, inspection companies, OEMs, dealer holdings, government and law enforcement agencies

  • Acting as first point of contact for business development-related inquiries from the Nordics

  • Working closely on a cross-functional basis such as Data, Product, Sales and Marketing

  • Supporting the Director of Business Development in various projects

Your profile

  • A minimum of 5 years of job experience in Business Development Sales and/or Account Management in the automotive industry

  • Business degree, MBA from a well-known business school is a plus

  • Experienced in answering objections and creating win-win situations, while being persistent in attempt to achieve stated goals and objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations, strategy documents, status reports, and correspondence in clear, concise, persuasive writing

  • Good understanding of and experience in working within the Swedish automotive market

  • Fluent in Swedish and English

  • Ability and desire to work in an international team

  • Willingness to travel
