Our flagship service is our Vehicle History Report, a curriculum vitae for used vehicles to solve the asymmetric information problem in the used car market. Our customers get access to an extensive multinational database consisting of +27 billion historical records related to over 1 billion cars in +20 countries across Europe and North America.
Today, we are a team of 100+ people in six European countries – while retaining a start-up feeling including flat hierarchies and flexible decision-making processes.
We are a dynamic and open-minded IT team with system administrators, software developers, data scientists and data analysts with a full DevOps oriented working style mindset. Our goal is to ensure high standards of quality through continuous optimization.
Your role
In this role as part of the IT Operations team, you will be collaborating very close with all the teams, supporting them following the best practices, answering security questions, and supervising all the processes from the security perspective. You will be the point of contact for the CSOC and will initiate and coordinate our response, ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
Your profile
Open and collaborative working style: collaboration, communication, proper documentation and sharing as key working style
Minimum 2 years of work experience with security incident management, 5+ years in IT
Experience with operating and implementing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems such as Crowdstrike
Experience in monitoring, planning, and managing technical security measures to protect the company infrastructure, services, and data
Strong experience troubleshooting security and network problems
Experience with Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, Office 365 security, Antivirus, etc.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure like AWS and Azure
Exceptional attention to the technical details and problem-solving skills.
Optional, but highly appreciated
Experience with container-based infrastructure platform development, and Infrastructure as Code
Experience with a variety of open-source technologies
