CARFAX Europe GmbH provides trusted information that helps millions of people to shop, buy, own and sell used cars with more confidence. Our flagship service is our Vehicle History Report, a curriculum vitae for used vehicles to solve the asymmetric information problem in the used car market. Our customers get access to an extensive multinational database consisting of +27 billion historical records related to over 1 billion cars in +20 countries across Europe and North America.
Today, we are a team of +100 people in six European countries – who work together on a common vision: “A fair used car market for everyone.”
To put that vision into reality, we are looking for a skilled digital marketing enthusiast who systematically improves sales conversion rates together with our multifunctional web-team.
In the past years we have been able to get a lot of traffic through different sources to our platform. Now we need you to get the maximum out of it.
Your role
Analyze, identify, and articulate potentials for optimization and growth opportunities
Conduct performance tests (such as A|B Tests), provide advice, and develop strategies for improving conversions and sales
Manage and optimize landing pages, sales funnels and marketing campaigns with our online marketing team
Own tools we use for conversion optimization within the check-out process (e.g. payment)
Coordinate closely with UX, Design, Development, Marketing and Customer Service functions to create a frictionless and personalized customer experience
Monitor key metrics and maintain conversion rates for the business
Analyze bottle necks, perform usability tests & make sure all marketing content follows best practice for optimized conversion rates
Your profile
3+ years of experience with conversion optimization
Experience with using tools such as Google Analytics and A|B Testing platforms (e.g. Google Optimize)
Knowledge of all aspects of conversion enhancement, including copywriting, UX and web analytics
Results oriented working style with a strong focus on achieving revenue, conversion, sales and other marketing goals
Customer-focused and goal-orientated person with the ability to work both independently and in a team with a hands-on mindset
Excellent English skills, further languages are a plus
Agency- or automotive start-up experience is a plus
Ideally enthusiastic about cars
