CARFAX Europe has teamed up with Rocket Science to raise awareness about the issue of transparency in the used car market. Inaccurate information about pre-owned vehicles poses a real threat on the roads and generates significant costs for consumers. That’s why reliable, expert knowledge about a vehicle’s history and technical condition is crucial. Through this collaboration, Rocket Science aims to highlight that success isn’t defined by prior experience in a given industry, but by professionalism, attitude, and the creativity of the team.
CARFAX has entrusted Rocket Science with the development and execution of its PR strategy, which includes media relations and building the brand’s expert positioning.
“I’m very pleased with our collaboration, which started at the beginning of the year and already led to impressive results. From the very beginning, and even before we officially started the collaboration, the Rocket team has demonstrated creativity and full commitment to every project. Thanks to their innovative ideas and strategic approach, we’ve been able to effectively communicate CARFAX’s core values and consistently build our brand’s position as an expert in the used car market in Poland,” said Marcel Rotzoll, responsible for CARFAX’ Public Relations activities in Europe. “This partnership allows us to continuously evolve our campaigns, reach new audiences, and strengthen customer trust in CARFAX services. Rocket Science sets the benchmark for other partners in terms of communication effectiveness and creativity. The Rocket team has raised the international bar for PR efforts.”
A key milestone in the partnership was the first press event with Robert Lewandowski, Business Development Manager at CARFAX Poland, which coincided with the opening of the exhibition “Every car has its history. You should know it” at Studio Jaskółka in Warsaw. The exhibition featured personal photographs of cars taken by automotive enthusiasts who see vehicles as more than just machines. Each photo was accompanied by a unique story—about dreams, emotions, memories, and journeys. The event attracted a wide range of journalists and opinion leaders from both national and industry-specific media.
Agencies entering a new industry during the bidding or pitch stage often struggle to prove their expertise and creativity without prior experience or recommendations from competing brands. That’s why I’m so thrilled that, thanks to CARFAX’s trust, we’ve gained valuable experience in the automotive sector. After seven months of collaboration, we’re already on the way to break the mark of 1,000 publications, far exceeding the client’s goals. I hope this serves as an example to other industries that communication tools are universal across sectors, and the key success factors are mindset, responsiveness, analytical thinking, and team creativity,” summarized Karolina Krzeska, CEO of Rocket Science.
CARFAX provides users with vehicle history reports sourced from reliable and certified databases. Its system contains over 40 billion unique historical records on used cars from more than 20 countries, including data on over 23 million vehicles in Poland. CARFAX’s main goal is to make the used car market more transparent and roads safer worldwide. The company has been present in Europe for over 17 years and in Poland since 2019.
